Pricing and Licensing

The CourseWebs platform is offered two ways: as a hosted application (on our servers), or you can purchase the source code to run on your server. We accept credit cards for US and international orders. We also accept checks and purchase orders for US customers.
Hosting Service
$189 per month. That allows unlimited instructors, students, exams, forums, etc. $129 setup.You get:
- A domain name such as http://yourname.coursewebs.com or use your own domain name, if you have one.
- Fully customizable.
- Administrator Control Panel. Shows activity report, access all student records, create and manage courses, see exam results, and export lists.
- File uploading for instructors .
- No "per student" licensing fees. This is a flat rate service.
- Technical support.
- Software upgrades.
- Daily backups.
- Redundant High Bandwidth Connectivity.
- High capacity Windows 2003 servers.

*Unlimited up to the capacities of the hardware.
*The fine print: 50 megabytes (MB) of storage space for your database includes the following approximate space usage for records in the database: 450 students per MB; 250 exam questions per MB; 600 exam responses (answered questions) per MB; 100 content pages per MB; 1000 discussion forum posts per MB.
Additional space is $10 per 200 MB and $15 per 2 GB network transfer per month. You will be notified if any of these additional storage or bandwidth charges apply.

Customization
Special needs? No problem. We'll work with you to get you what you need. The CourseWebs system is designed to be customized and we can do so at very reasonable rates. From simple cosmetic changes to major feature changes or additions, our software can be modified to get you exactly what you need.
Need to process credit cards? CourseWebs can be configured to work with most gateway processing services.

If you would like to license the CourseWebs system for your own server, please contact sales@coursewebs.com.
Requires IIS 4.0 or better and MS SQL Server (7.0 or 2000) or MSDE (desktop SQL Server). You get all the source code, un-encrypted and fully customizable. The CourseWebs platform is designed for easy administration. Platform licensing includes all source code (ASP, VBScript, JavaScript).
Payment Options
We accept credit cards (Visa/MC/American Express), checks, money orders, and wire transfers. Purchase Orders accepted from approved organizations in the US. Any refunds are given for a period of 5 days from receipt of software.
